Mission Support
The capabilities that keep operations running.
Equipment wins attention; sustainment wins missions. SKALD's mission-support services carry an operation from arrival to endurance: medical capability where hospitals are distant, the camps and services an operation lives on, the qualified people who crew and mentor it, and the logistics that move the difficult loads. Each service stands alone; together they are the reason a capability still works a year after delivery.
What We Offer
-
Definitive care, hours from the nearest hospital.
Operations in remote and demanding environments carry a medical obligation that infrastructure will not meet on its own. SKALD builds medical capability around the client's actual exposure: trained people, right-sized equipment, a rehearsed evacuation plan, and clinical reach-back when the nearest specialist is a continent away.
Medical training. Bespoke courses for operators, responders and medical staff, from field first response to damage-control resuscitation. Courses run on the client's site or at partner facilities, and are built around the client's environment rather than a generic syllabus.
Field equipment & treatment facilities. Medical equipment proven for field use, scaled from individual and team kit to a self-contained treatment facility providing advanced care on site.
Aeromedical evacuation. MEDEVAC planning and capability, rotary and fixed-wing, short-haul and strategic. The point is assurance: an injured colleague reaches definitive care, not just the nearest runway.
On-site medical teams. Qualified providers embedded with operations in remote, offshore and industrial environments, working under clear clinical governance.
Telemedicine. Remote specialist consultation that extends duty of care into places where clinical infrastructure is thin.
Health programme management. Medical risk assessment, in-country healthcare planning and tailored medical management plans, so the medical answer fits the country, the workforce and the mission.

Building the places operations live.
Every deployed operation needs a place to work from, and someone accountable for it.Building the places operations live.
Every deployed operation needs a place to work from, and someone accountable for it. SKALD establishes and runs life support for teams in remote environments: accommodation and camp establishment, catering and water, power and sanitation, communications, and day-to-day camp management including local-workforce coordination.
We scale to the task, from a survey team's temporary footprint to a standing operational base, and we apply the same procurement discipline to a generator or a kitchen as to any mission system: specified for the environment, delivered with spares and support, and handed over working.

The people a capability actually runs on.
Platforms do not fly themselves and programmes do not run themselves. SKALD provides mission-qualified personnel for standing operations and surge requirements alike: pilots, sensor operators, mission commanders, maintainers, medics and instructors.
Two things distinguish our approach. First, our specialists embed: they work inside the client organisation, to its chain of command, and their job includes transferring skill. This is Enable, Advise, Accompany in its most direct form. Second, we support the wider workforce question: in-country manpower solutions, labour management and recruitment support delivered in line with local regulation, so an operation's staffing stands on lawful, sustainable ground.
When the day comes that the client no longer needs us, we count that as success.
