Aviation

Support across the mission spectrum.

SKALD delivers air capability as a working whole: the aircraft, the crews, the sensors, the maintenance and the plan that keeps them flying. We support governments, humanitarian organisations and industry where aviation is not a convenience but the only way the mission happens.

Our aviation practice covers three areas. Airlift and air charter moves people and cargo, rotary and fixed-wing, from crew changes to strategic lift. Aerial ISR and survey turns aircraft into information: sensor integration, mission crews and analysis. Aerial delivery and resupply reaches the places roads do not.

Behind all three sit the same foundations: aircraft leasing and operations, import support, certified maintenance, and mission-qualified crews (pilots, sensor operators and mission commanders). For agencies establishing an air capability from a low base, we advise on structure, basing, regulation and sustainment before the first aircraft is chosen, and we stay engaged until the unit stands on its own.
